Version 1.1 released and ready to go

As many of you have probably seen, the new 1.1 version of the application is up and running.  We listened very closely to the feedback we got from the initial users.  In our opinion, version 1.1 is what version 1.0 should have been if we knew everything that we do now.

We made major enhancements to the application and the workflow.

The most obvious change will be that you no longer have to log in with google accounts.  This simplified our implementation for 1.0, but ended up causing too much of a hassle for users to log in.  Now we have our own account system that makes it much easier to log in. You simply enter an email address and a password in the provided form and you are ready to go.   This change has also simplified the way credentials are stored on the mobile application and allowed us to provide some great usability hints when things don't go well.

We have also added a 15 day trial period to all new accounts.  This will let new users get up and running quickly so they can see how great the service is before they have to enter any payment details.  We think this will make it much easier for people to get into the application more quickly.

We have make tons of small improvements to the usability of the application.  You may not notice all of them, but trust us that a lot of hardwork has gone into making sure the application flows very smoothly when you need it most.

Please take a look at the new application and provide us with any feedback through the community support forum:  community.soapnoteapp.com

We look forward to hearing from you.
